Devon Carter
Devon Carter graduated from the Albena Lake-Hodge Comprehensive School (ALHCS) sixth form programme in 2012. During his time at the ALHCS, he was a recipient of the Youth Environmental Leadership Award in 2007, 2008, and 2009. He was also awarded Best Director from the ALHCS for the school play entitled “Good Morning Miss Millie” which he co-directed.
He currently works with the Anguilla National Trust as a Research Assistant where he has the opportunity to work on a number of species and ecosystem conservation initiatives, including the restoration of islands and species recovery programmes. Not forgetting his interest and passion in the visual and performing arts, Devon continues to work with the Sunshine Theatre Group both on the stage and behind the scenes and is a stage manager and photographer with VERT Inc.
He is also committed to giving back to the community and is an active volunteer with the Anguilla Red Cross and the Anguilla National Youth Council.
