Jennifer Ulrika Solis Flores
Jennifer belongs to the Garifuna ethnic group located in the Pearl Lagoon basin, South Autonomous Region of Nicaragua. She is an Engineer in Agriculture graduate from EARTH University in 2011.
During 2011, she did an elective course in Economic Evaluation of Environmental Impact at EARTH University. In 2010, she had the opportunity to work on solid waste management in the community of Bernabela and this year, she went to Poland to do an internship in the utilization of Effective Microorganisms (EM) contributing to protect the soil and working in a friendly way with the environment.
In 2013, Jennifer went to Norway in the Solidarity Brigades with Latin America and had the opportunity to share topics such as natural resources management and the law of autonomy for the Atlantic Region.
Her mission is to continue multiplying this knowledge acquired through youth education and agricultural producers in order to promote the process of strengthening their autonomy.
